Alien Conspiracies - What's Out There?

Whether people choose to believe in Aliens or not, it's a fun idea to toy with, isn't it? The possibilty that there are other life forms existing beyond our knowledge or comprehension. It's the stuff that novels and movies are made of. The fact that such things may exist is alluring.

Fanatics believe that not only do they exist but there are government agencies whose sole purpose is to ensure that the public never finds out about their existence.

By far the most famous Government Conspiracy would be the crash landing at Roswell.  Here's the Scoop.

In Roswell, New Mexico 1947 a silver fiery object was spotted flying through the night sky.  The object reportedly crashed near Corona where one witness found pieces of the wrecked craft.

The United States Air Force took immediate interest in the wreckage, sealing off the crash site and forced any personnel not to speak of anything they saw.  Allegedly, among the space craft wreckage was the body of an actual Extraterrestrial.

Among the vivid witness accounts is a claim from one Mortician that he had to carry out autopsies on the recovered bodies.

The Roswell Cover-Up has taken on a Pop Culture phenomenon, capturing the imaginations of everyone, drawing them immediately to aliens and sorts when the very name is mentioned.  

In 1946, over Sweden, roughly 1400 sightings of "rocket" like UFO's were reported between May and December.

Though some theorists claim these "rockets" to be meteors burning up in the atmosphere, but was quickly debunked as the sightings were not at any meteor shower peak times.

A convenient explanation was never found for these ghost rockets until the Greek Government became involved.

The lead Greek Scientist deduced the rockets were not of Earthly origin and if hostile our technology would not be sufficient for a formidable defense.

The United States Army Higher Ups intervened, cutting the investigation short as not to start any sort of mass panic among the commonwealth.  

Currently there is still NO explanation for the Ghost Rockets.

Thomas Mantell was an Air National Guard pilot from Kentucky.  Thomas' craft reportedly crashed while pursuing an aircraft he described as "metallic and massive in size".

Mantell was reported to be an experienced pilot who had flown over 2000 hours in his aerial career.  A 300 ft. wide object had been spotted hovering in place for nearly an hour when Mantell had been ordered to investigate the object.

The object, upon being honed in on, began to fly upward in the Earth's atmosphere.  The other airplanes in Mantell's squadron broke off when they ran low on Oxygen, returning to normal altitudes.

Mantell continued his pursuit of the object, passing 22,000 feet when he blacked out from lack of Oxygen, causing his plane to spiral back toward Earth and eventually crashing.

Several theories surfaced following the crash.  Some stated that his plane had been shot down by the UFO he had given chase to, others say his watch had stopped minutes before his actual crash.

After the crash landing at Roswell, President Truman supposedly created a committee of a highly secretive group of people known as the "Majestic 12".

The purpose of the Majestic 12, allegedly is the collection and research of all things UFO.  The group was made up of 12 members.

Several documents, claimed to be forgeries, have leaked from Government officials and archives. These documents depict subjects such as conduct when meeting an Alien, diagrams and records of UFO tests, and associated cover ups.

These documents that surfaced were the only purported evidence to the existence of this secret committee. The FBI began an investigation into the legitimacy of these documents in 1952, coming to the decision that they were in fact forgeries, pointing out formatting errors and grammar mistakes.
